IOSCO: International Organisation of Securities Commissions (Afkorting)
De International Organisation of Securities Commissions is de internationale organisatie van beurstoezichthouders. Deze organisatie heeft grote invloed gehad op de acceptatie van internationale accounting standaarden (IAS) die later zijn omgezet in de internationale financiële rapportage standaarden (International Financial Reporting Standards - ofwel IFRS). Het OISCO werkt nauw samen met de IASB, zodat zij ook via de Europese Commissie uniformering van de internationale verslaggeving kan afdwingen {Externe Verslaggeving}.
